We are a husband and wife team based in South America, translating and proofreading translations for the local business and culture sectors.

Our team consists of a British linguist currently living in Uruguay who holds a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Westminster, as well as posgraduate courses from the Universities of Lampeter and Swansea in Wales.He specialises in legal translations, having worked as a court interpreter in the U.S., and literary texts, with several published translations on art, photography and literary criticisism.

Our other member is Uruguayan and holds a BA from the University of London. She has worked for many years in advertising and publishing in Uruguay, including voiceovers and screen translations.She is a teacher of English graduated from the University of London with a posgraduate degree in Learning Difficulties. She currently teaches English to advanced students and Legal English to practising lawyers in prestigious local law firms.

We both have wide experience translating to and from English, both in literary and in technical fields, as well as vast knowledge of cultural and historical matters related to regional affairs, having lived in the area for the past eight years.
